RIO TINTO FITOUT

A Sign’s work on the 21 level Rio Tinto fitout at 123 Albert St helped bookend our history and define our future trajectory. The challenges set by this project were obvious at tender stage and didn’t disappoint through to completion including the 2011 Brisbane Floods inundating areas of the CBD.

Throughout the fitout, A Sign worked closely with
Project Managers – Paragon Project Management,
Head Contractors - Laing O’Rourke,
Architects – Geyer and Graphic
Designers – Frost* Design.
The Rio Tinto Fitout consisted of 20+ sign types, 1000s of individual signs and 4500+ square meters of digitally printed film.

LED FEATURE CLOCK WALL

Fabricated from an MDF frame with Corian cladding and 20 LED clocks mounted internally. The stylised world map graphic was created using varying thicknesses of Corian block (10mm, 20mm & 30mm). Each clock represents a different location around the world with brightness settings of the clocks automatically changing to represent when the city is in night or day. Overall Size: 9000mm x 2700mm

DIGITALLY PRINTED FEATURE AND PRIVACY GRAPHICS

4535 square metres of digitally printed graphics were installed over 21 levels using various films including 3M Dusted Crystal, Ultraclear and LG Matt White. Graphics include dot imagery, full cover photographs and monotone stylised topographic maps.
